To whom it may concern,
After the Tubbs fire on Oct 09, 2017, I opted into the public option (ACOE) to have my destroyed home and outbuildings cleared from the property. After talking to a number of
neighbors, 5 families on my street decided to consider other options. We had heard about  Excel Site Services through a local contractor.
After some research, we decided to hire Excel Site Services to
do the debris removal on our property. Excel had been highly recommended by a property manager friend and a client who had hired Excel to do debris removal on a number of properties. At my request, Tony and Hector took care of the paperwork needed to opt out of the public debris removal option. It was a pleasure working with Tony, He took great care in following through on various aspects of our contract. If I had a question regarding his service, he was quickly able to find answers and respond to my inquiries. Tony is a friendly guy and a true professional. I highly recommend him to anyone who might need his services.

As a victim of the October wildfires, it was recommended by the city that FEMA  be allowed to clean-up our incinerated home at 1956 Gardenview Court.  After experiencing excuses and delays waiting for our lot to be cleared, we were referred to  Excel Site Services by a neighbor. Tony Perez (Owner) and his crew were professional and genuinely caring of our needs and  completed the work promptly and thoroughly. Excels team and Hector Enriquez (Safety Manager) made  sure we were totally satisfied from start to finish. The follow through with the city  to ensure the required paperwork to rebuild was submitted and approved was  seamless.

To Whom It May Concern: 

I can heartily offer my recommendation for the services provided by Excel Site Services. 

My wife and I lost our house during the recent Tubbs Fires in Northern California. We had originally signed up with FEMA to handle the debris removal at our property, but we were approached by four of our neighbors to consider  Excel Services. 

We were able to immediately set up an interview with Tony at our property. He explained the process, confirmed that we could meet with his staff just before the removal began, and that he would arrange for us to be taken off of the FEMA debris removal roll. He efficiently followed through on all of these commitments. 

I met with Tony and his crew twice. The first time was just before they began the work. It was obvious that they had already reviewed our site. They were very sensitive to our having just lost everything - our house and all of its contents. They clearly explained what they were going to do. They noted the portion of the property I had taped off. This was for me to be able to save our bocce ball court from removal, as well as to preserve many of the large boulders I wanted to keep. 

Over 100 trees had been destroyed, and now needed to be removed. We agreed to just cut them to the ground, in order to save the trunk in he hopes that they might sprout back. 

I pointed out how the driveway went over a run-off culvert. The wooden support sides had been destroyed in the fire. They offered to move many of the rocks to this edge to provide extra support. It now looks better and stronger than ever. 

I showed them where our septic system was and also the location of our main water line entry. As they began their work, they were very careful around these areas. 

The second time that I met them was during the actual removal process. This was a difficult moment, to see the removal of our house that had been home for 30 years. They paused their work to allow me some final moments and pictures. 

When all the work was completed, Tony and Hector followed through with the Sonoma County Office of Health Services. This was to get our soils tested, and hopefully, cleared. They were cleared. 

Whenever we had a question, we always were able to reach someone at Excel Site Services who could answer our questions. 

Although I hope to not need his services again, because of a disaster I certainly will recommend  Excel to anyone needing a professional, thorough, and caring job done.
